A while back somebody suggested we seed hurricane clouds with dry ice to cool the water and make the hurricane go away.

Besides, everybody knows heat attracts hurricanes. Which is why I propose we build a giant heat ray to aim at Havana...

It just goes to show you that people like to cherry-pick their beliefs. All these people who think a few extra warm summers in their part of the world means incandescent lightbulb use is making the Earth boil remind me of my boss back in Miami, who used to say that there wouldn't be any more hurricanes in South Florida because the heat from all the buildings reflected them away. I think it was a year or two after that that we had Hurricane Andrew.

Very entertaining read there, Andrea.

I am amazed that some people commenting there that Homeopathic remedies are pedalled by charlatans also think that AGW denialists think the same way.... when AGW believers haven't had anything about AGW proven to them - because there is no proof.
Reading Ian Plimer's book, Heaven and Earth at the moment. It's all happened before. Recall learning the history of the earth using geology in primary school!
